Here is my favorite vendor at the Silk Market. When I was in Beijing 11 years ago this market was outside in this old really interesting alley way. Now it has morphed into a big 7 story building where there are stalls after stalls of vendors selling the same thing. My friend Stephanie and I sat at this vendor's stall and bargained for at least 45 minutes. The more we bought the better deals we got. Here she is custom making a pair of earrings I bought for my sister.
